Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) leader Mayawati has asked the BJP, Samajwadi Party and Congress to clarify their respective stand on reservation to the most backward castes (MBCs) among the Dalits and OBCs.

Addressing a Press conference here she said only the BSP has a clear stand on the issue which favours reservation to most backwards among Dalits and OBCs according to their population in the State.

She said the Samajwadi Party is patently opposed to reservation to MBCs while the BJP is doing only lip service and the Congress is non-existent in UP.
