Christian missionaries thrashed at BHU VARANASI: Two Christian missionaries were thrashed by students of Banaras Hindu University (BHU) on the campus on Tuesday and later they were handed over to police. A case under section 506 was registered against them at Lanka police station. According to information, the Christian missionaries, Anil Luis and Bharat Lal, natives of Madhya Pradesh, presently reside in Durgakund locality. They were caught and beaten by a group of students when they went to the faculty of art of BHU on Tuesday. The students alleged that the missionaries threatened to blow the university if they did not embrace Christianity. The news spread like a wild fire on the campus.
