Forward castes accused of abusing Dalits MYDUKUR: Bharatiya Janata Party Dalit Morcha Mydukur mandal unit vice-president J Srinivasulu, in a statement here today, demanded the arrest of the upper caste people, who allegedly attacked and abused Dalits of Peddacheepadu village in Chapadu mandal in their caste name on April 22. When the Madigas of the village were conducting a cricket tournament under the aegis of J S R Cricket Tournament, Bogi Reddy, G Venkata Narayana Reddy, Veeranarayana Reddy, Veerbhadra Reddy, Balanarasimha Reddy, Maheswar Reddy and Venkata Reddy of the same village objected to it and attacked the organisers, he alleged.
