New Delhi, March 3. (PTI): The Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) today condemned the "senseless" destruction of Buddhist relics by the Taliban militia in Afghanistan and suggested the NDA Government should take the international community into confidence to save orther artefacts.

"Buddha preached equality of all religions, humanity and brotherhood. BSP condemns destruction of Buddhist relics by Taliban," BSP Vice-President Mayawati told reporters here.

She criticised the NDA Government's disinvestment policy saying it was an attempt to "end reservation" for the SC/STs and OBCs.

"The Government was disinvesting the PSUs to private companies which do not extend reservation to SC/STs and others. The disinvestment is an attempt to end reservation for these communities," she said.
