Kulu: Timely action by Mrs Tegi Devi, a panch in Shonshar panchayat of Banjar subdivision of the district, saved a Dalit woman from being raped. Mr N.Venu Gopal, SP, told here today that two persons, Sharwan of Monahar village and Lal Singh of Kharua village of the same panchayat, entered the house of the victim at Chanahari village and tried to molest her. The woman raised an alarm, following which, the woman panch reached the spot and saved her.
