SC/ST body demand redressal of their woes Hyderabad, June 5: The State Bank of Hyderabad SC/ST Employees Welfare Association on Tuesday demanded that their long- pending charter of demands be implemented immediately. Addressing at the all-India conference of the association held here, association general secretary R Pochaiah said in spite of several representations to the SBH management, their problems were not solved so far. The demands include action against bogus caste certificate holders, providing check off facility to the association, providing accommodation to the association and reservation and relaxation for promotion from subordinate cadre to clerical cadre. SBH managing director KSC Krishnamachary who gave a patient hearing to the association’s demands, later assured to consider their demands. He said their issues would be looked into and corrective steps would be taken. Later, the association conducted on the spot zonal elections and elected their representatives for each zone. |
