Sacked BSP MLA may join SP The Times of India News Service LUCKNOW: Suggesting strong possibilities of Brijesh Singh joining the Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) in the near future, sacked BSP MLA Mukhtar Ansari said the party was all set for a chaos. Incidentally, Brijesh Singh is the most wanted mafia don of Uttar Pradesh, who also happens to be the brother of Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) MLC Chulbul Singh. Regarding joining a fresh political party, Mukhtar said he had kept his options open. He admitted that the possibility of his joining the Samajwadi Party (SP) was bright. Recently sacked from BSP, Mukhtar said that Tribhuvan, a close aide of Brijesh had met BSP stalwart Mayawati a day after his ouster from the party. Mukhtar even levelled charges against Mayawati, stating that Tribhuvan had offered a hefty sum for the party fund to seek his induction. Like Brijesh, Tribhuvan too carries a cash reward of Rs 2 lakh announced by the police. Mukhtar did not rule out the possibility that his ouster from BSP could have been manoeuvred to induct Brijesh in his place. |
