Supporters of BSP leaders confident they'll be taken back THE TIMES OF INDIA NEWS SERVICE LUCKNOW:The supporters of the three expelled BSP leaders who had launched an indefinite dharna against the expulsion of R K Choudhary, Barkhu Ram Varma and K P Singh are confident that there leaders would be taken back into the party fold . After several attempts one of the negotiators working for the return of R K Choudhary and Barkhu Ram Varma have been able to contact the central leadership of the party who assured them that the expelled leaders would be allowed to return to the party and work for the uplift of dalits. Former speaker Varma told this correspondent that he was keen to return to the BSP not for serving his " own interest" but to uplift dalit community.He said during his 15 years political stay in the dalit outfit he never thought about becoming MLA or minister."If he had nursed any political ambition, he too would have joined the bandwagon of defectors and latched on to the ruling party coalition ", said Varma. " The only remorse for him was that he would not be able to serve the cause of dalits, if remained out of the BSP." Varma and other leaders of the party had to differ their Delhi visit owing to the bereavement in the family of R K Choudhary.However, as soos as Choudhry would be free from his obligations at home, the duo will rush to Delhi, said Varma .Meawhile, the expelled leaders have yet not been able to contact the BSP supremo Kanshi Ram, said Varma
