BSP accuses MLA of land-grabbing DH News Service BANGALORE:The Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) today alleged that Uttarahalli legislator R Ashok and his supporters had encroached government land worth over Rs 1.5 crore in Yelahanka hobli and Singapire village on the outskirts of Bangalore. Addressing a press conference here, BSP State unit Vice-President Muniyappa said Mr Ashok and his supporters had encroached a gomala land, a graveyard and tank bed in these villages under a benmani transaction. He had also been laying road and other infrastructure facilities in these areas to convert them into sites, Mr Muniyappa claimed. He further said the party has already drawn the attention of the Revenue Department but till now no action has been taken. If proper action is not taken within 15 days, the party would stage a protest in front of the chief minister's residence, Mr Muniya-ppa warned.
