First time in last 10 year
BAMCEF organizes state convention every year in various zones of state depending on the need of organisation and priorities. This year 15th UP state convention was organized at Faizabad on 9th and 10th June 2001. But this time the situation was much favourable, which was not expected for the last decade. As quoted by Dr.Ambedkar “Mentality of our society is such that today they think of planting a tree and tomorrow they expect fruits.” People in UP were not understanding that unless and until the social roots of any society is deep rooted, no change in politics is going to be reflected. But today people are realising their misdeeds. There was much more positive response from people for the last 2-3 months continuous field work with the help of full timers. The response after 10 year is really appreciable.

More Success in Faizabad
Faizabad is an famous place and district of Ayodhya where the arya brahiminical forces gathered for demolition of babri mosque. After demolition of mosque, brahminism was more established. Previously Faizabad was an important center of BAMCEF activities. But some of our people got caught in the regionalism theory of arya brahmins and the organisation suffered lot. To strengthen once again the Phuley -Ambadkarite ideology in Faizabad, this convention was organised. All the old and new cadres participated in the convention. Arya Brahmins always take help of the theory of regionalism within our organizations and inturn we get split. This fact should always be kept in mind to strengthen the organization and achieve our ultimate objective of social change.
Impact of Convention in Eastern Up
For this convention eight zones of eastern UP were on target and field work was made in all the zones. During this period cadre camps were also organized, which resulted in developing new cadres. All these activities helped a lot in spreading the network. BAMCEF is now working in 72 districts of UP but major concentration was on eastern UP. Total 42 districts participated in this convention. This proves that the basic purpose of organizing convention was solved to the extent.
More success in coming future
From the response which was received during field work one can easily say that the people are now thinking of strengthening the non-political roots and changing their culture. Hence more success can be expected in near future which will result in establishing a society based on liberty, equality and fraternity.
