The
National Conference of Doctors, Advocates, Engineers, Technocrats, Officers
and Pensioners of the Mulnivasi (Indigenous) Bahujan Samaj has been
organised on 10th and 11th August, 2002 at Kolkotta. There are very
important and serious motive behind holding this conference of the aforesaid
class and groups of aboriginal Indians, who is in this category of academic
elite and who in the words of Dr. Ambedkar, are the wise, has the
foresightedness, can pioneer the leadership, form the opinion and can give the
suggestions. Dr. B. R. Ambedkar has also stated that the majority of people of
the society follows up and peruses what this elite class reflects in its usual
behavior. In application of ideological views of Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar, this
elite class is such an influential group, which has been always effecting every
now and then.
Babasaheb
Ambedkar had some expectations from this academically sound group of elites. But
this group of elite could not stand sound and solid on the expectations, which
were anticipated by Dr. B. R. Ambedkar. If this elite becomes completely
inactive, self centered, selfish and homely confined, this sort of reflection of
this group will adversely effect in totality to our society of the aboriginals.
Ostensibly, it has been observed in the society occasionally that this elite
group does not own the responsibility to lead the masses, rather they keep
distance from the society whereas it should be awakened and led by this group of
elites. This group of elite saves its skin contrarily by
making the open criticism of the people of the society.
Now
there is the utmost necessity on the part of those who have been launching the
movement that this sort of situation may not come in near future in the society.
BAMCEF has viewed it seriously. This is the great necessity of today that this
elite class should be made known of its duty, to engage and unite the society
for the sake of social awakening. This is only the group of elite to pioneer
towards the salvation of the Mulnivasi Bahujan Samaj from the clutches of
Brahmanism. Keeping in view all these aspects the decision has been made to organize
the national level convention of this category people at Kolkata.
|
This
conference at the national level is being organised at Kolkata with two
purposes. The network of BAMCEF organisation has been speedily spread all over
the country. Its ambit has widened comprehensive sources and means of the
organisation have also been developing speedily day by day. These aspects have
been proving the success of the Phuley-Amedkarite movement. Wideness of area of
activities of BAMCEF and simultaneous development in the whole country is the
first and foremost purpose behind organising the conference so that the masses
will know about the organisational activities.
The
second purpose behind the convention at Kolkotta is that upto 2004, as per the
first phase of the networking program, a decision has been made to spread the
network in 550 districts and 2000 tahsils. This is already under implementation
and it will also come under highlight of our people. It is also indispensable to
bring it in area of our activists to the whole state of West Bengal effectively
and expeditiously. Really, the unique and specific type Brahmanism prevails in
the West Bengal, which should also be copied with effectively and expeditiously.
BAMCEF is required to set up and set in action in the West Bengal with the
strength and solidarity.

The
success of networking of BAMCEF, which was planned strategically, has been
approaching its limits tremendously. The national convention held at Delhi has
witnessed this significant success. In this National Convention, there was
presence of the representatives and
participation of 26 states of the country, which were from 276 districts,
comprising of 1500 from OBC class, 300 from scheduled tribes and 50 from
minority community respectively. This was the result of the planned networking
which reflected the participation of different social groups, castes and creeds.
Over and above there was also the participation of international delegates (NRI's)
of 6 countries. Under this inspiration, international convention was organised
on 9th and 10th March 2002. In the second phase, the international convention
will be organised in 2004, which will be witnessed by delegates from almost 100
countries. In pursuance to our network planning, BAMCEF has also launched
website in order to spread the organisation and the Phuley-Ambedkarite ideology
at international level. It would widen the way and working of the organisation
at national and international level.
As
it has been decided to spread the networking by 2004, in almost 550 districts
and 2000 tahsils of India. For the completion of this process, 550 full time
workers, preachers will be deployed. As soon as this 2004 phase is completed,
the next phase program had been chalked out and will be commenced strategically.
This second phase will have 2000 full time workers to preach and propagate our
social public welfare planning which has already been chalked out for the
emancipation of Mulnivasi Bahujan masses from the clutches of Brahmanism.
Consequently, by 2007, our networking will reach to 50 thousand blocks and by
2009, it would reach to 6 lakh villages with the support of 50 thousand workers.
Specifically speaking our block comprises of 6.5 lakh villages, if two workers are allocated in each
village then there will be a strong army of 13 lakh workers at our back and
call.
This
planning is a part of geographical networking, which is, must for the pride and
prestige of the movement. However, both social networking and geographical
networking are simultaneously indispensable. Under the social networking, the
vivid groups of castes, categorised as
"Mulnivasi Bahujan Samaj," there is also necessity to induct
networking among the influential group, which is inclusive of Doctors,
Engineers, Officers, and Pensioners. From the point of view of the movement, the
networking for and among them is necessary and unavoidable.
We
believe to implement the socio-geographical network. We are serious thereabout
and know its significance. It will lead us towards the drastic change in our
mode of thinking, equally irrespective of caste, creed, and character and the
sense of good conscience could develop and pave us the path of the social
awakening and revolution. In order to bring the mobility by way of networking
among the influential groups of the society, the conference has been sponsored
and organised in Kolkata.

The
intellectual is such group who had some social responsibilities to discharge
towards the constructive work with some expectations to complete unperformed
part of thereof which has been left by Babasaheb Dr. B. R. Ambedkar. This
intellectual class was made to vest with the right proned group with the
expectation to lead the society to do away with the Brahmincal social
system and emancipate the Mulnivasi Bahujan Samaj from this so called
social system. However, this intellectual and elite group forgot entirely its
duties. This group is apparently not active and conscious to do such sort of
work of Dr. Ambedkar. Despite this fact, this group being the part of the
depressed people of our society ignores them, sees them, with the neglected
attitude, and keeps distance with them. This was realised by Dr. Ambedkar at the
fag end of his life and with the heavy heart on 18th March 1956, at Agra. He
expressed anguish and anger saying " The educated people have betrayed me.
I was thinking that after their education they would serve their society. But I
am finding a group of clerks has gathered around me who are engaged in filling
their belly". This heart burning words proves that the intellectual group
is cut off from the oppressed society, showing no affection with the people.
BAMCEF realised this anti-social attitude of this elite class and undertook to
awaken them about their sense of duty towards the depressed society. The results
of our efforts is at the face of the facts throughout the country. The awakening
, which has taken shape of the existing, is the gift of the glorious efforts of
BAMCEF.
By
dint of achievements of our reformers, Phuley-Ambedkar, our present generation
in each category of intellectuals is striving. This is only the group of
intellectuals who can handle the reign of the movement in its hands. Hence it is
the requirement of time that this influential intellectual class, being
academically sound, should collaborate and co-operate in spreading the
networking at the national level so that the recognition among the people of the
movement and awakening of Phuley-Ambedkar ideology may be established
effectively and expeditiously. Consequently, the intellectual group may realise
the social obligations and take initiative to accomplish them in totality.
|
First
time this conference is going to be held at Kolkotta and our workers have been
made alert and ready for discharging the specific endeavors. Units of BAMCEF and
Mulnivasi Employees Welfare Federation (MEWF) are assigned the specific
responsibility. Many Doctors, Pleaders, Engineers, Officers and Pensioners are
already with us and those who are not associated with us till date, they will
have to be contacted and pursued to participate in this conference. In the event
they are happened to participate, it will be an admitted fact that our all
workers and intellectuals have been grasping seriously the networking program
and apparently, they (the elite class) had readily realised their socio-moral
obligations.
|
Workers
of all the units of BAMCEF and MWEF should initiate their activities since now.
Special contact campaign needs
the prompt propaganda and preachment about the conference. The more we
launch the contact campaign the more will be the participation of the
intellectual class. Those who are not associated, they should be perused
tremendously to come in our fold and participate in the conference. Participants
who are pursued will have to be apprised at the time of train and other mode of
transport. Subjects designed to be discussed in the conference should be
revealed to the associates simultaneously insisting for advance booking of their
tickets. We have to make the anticipated participants understand about the
seriousness of the designed topics to be placed on
the platform of the conference. We should extend every sort of
co-ordination and co-operation with those who have been included to participate
in the conference. All workers associated with BAMCEF and MEWF should seriously
materialise all the aspects of the conference as issues linked with the purpose
of holding the conference are related to the freedom and salvation of the
Mulnivasi Bahujan Samaj. We expect the emergence of our strength. Solidarity in
action and practice out of the conference scheduled to be held at Kolkata.
