Delivering his inaugural speech Mr. Waman Meshram said that network plays an important role for any organisation. To increase and spread its network BAMCEF often organises regional or zonal conferences, state conventions and national conventions on regular basis.
The basic hindrance infront of us is that we are not totally qualified for the task which we want to achieve, that is the social change. We have to change the unequal or disproportionate society into a society based on equality and this is the same objective which our forefathers kept for themselves. Hence we are doing nothing special, only fulfilling the incomplete task left by our forefathers. The first and foremost responsibility of new generation is to take initiate to complete the task left by our forefathers. But today the new generation is not fully prepared to take the task. For the last so many years we are preparing our society. Why we are preparing? Because we want to make our society, more competent and capable to take the task. We will be in a position to take the task, when we will declare ourselves as unfit. To make ourselves fit for the task of our fore fathers, conventions play an important role.
What networking exactly means? Our country is at present divided into 583 districts, 5000 tahsils and 6,00,000 Villages. BAMCEF had made its plan to increase its network in 550 districts upto 2004. This is an time bound program. To achieve our objective of social change network in 550 districts will be enough. Upto 2004 our network will increase in 3000 tahsils and by 2006 in 5000 tahsils. With the help of this network we will be in a position to spread one idea, one voice in 550 districts and 5000 tahsils without a time lag. The ideas given by our forefathers can be easily spread with the help of this network.
One of the major disease of our people which was identified by our forefathers is mental disease. A pen can be visualised by eyes but brahminism is formless, shapeless, it can’t be visualised. Hence it can not be killed by sword, knife or by gun. Brahaminism is an ideology which had acquired brains of our people. As per the medical science, all activities of men are controlled by brain and brain is controlled by ideas. As arya brahmins had controlled our brains and brains are controlling human beings, it means that our people are controlled by arya brahmins and they are successful in making us slave. Hence after a brief thought by our forefathers, they came to a conclusion that ideology can only kill another ideology (Brahmanical ideology). All those who had accepted this Phuley-Ambedkarite ideology had liberated themselves from brahminism and those who got liberated had taken the task to liberate others who are under the clutch of brahminism.
Today we are facing another problem. We have both, the medicine and the patients, but main problem is that, the medicine is not reaching to the patient. Unless and until the medicine reaches patient, he will not get cured. Hence our main aim shall be to pass on the medicine given by our forefathers to the patients.
During the “Chawdar” lake agitation, Dr. Ambedkar had given us two messages which are very important. He told that “Keep the awakening fire ignited forever.” He mean to say that the process of awakening should not stop anywhere. Why he stressed for awakening? The reason being he was knowing that “Unless and until the ideas are changed, behavior of human being cannot be changed”. Before understanding the awakening expedition of BAMCEF one must remember the above said words of Dr. Ambedkar. But we had totally forgotten it, hence facing the problems.
While doing the work of awakening we must remember that when we are changing the ideas of anybody, we should not pin point behavior of any other human being. If people are misbehaving, then they are not responsible for that, the reason for their misbehaving is that they are attached to wrong ideology and are following the same. Hence wrong ideology alone is responsible for our brethren’s misbehavior. So our duty should be to change and replace wrong ideology. That’s why Dr. Ambedkar stressed not to discontinue the awakening flame. In 1936, the “Satya Shodhak” movement of Rashtrapita Phule got merged with congress with the efforts of Gandhi and hence today, Professors like Jemini Kadu are forced to write awakening books for OBC. If the “Satya Shodhak” movement had not been merged with congress then probably Jemni Kadu could not have written the book “Buddha, Phule, Shahu, Ambedkar and Kunbi (OBC) society.”
The major problem before us is that we often forget to free our brethren from mental slavery. It is need of time to rethink on this issue. The man who is freed from mental slavery can’t seat idle, he gets himself busy in bringing awakening in the society. Hence we must know that, whatever work we want to do for society, really we are able to do that or not? If not, then how can we improve ourselves. And to improve ourselves and the organisation, networking plays an active role.
For fulfilling the objective of networking in 550 districts and 5000 tahsil places minimum 10,000 full timers will be needed from a population of 85 crore people. After independance R.S.S. was having only 47 full time workers, but with that strength, today they are in a position to send Atal Bihari Vajpeyee at the Centre. In 1885 Congress was formed and in 1947 India got independence. That means after 62 years India was liberated from Britishers. I can visualize that if we are working in right direction with right perspective then we can also do it within 50 years. This can be achieved with the help of 85% population. Even if we could gather 35% people out of 85% then also we can bring revolution in this country. It is universal truth that 100% people can’t come together, and it is not also the requirement. Buddha never came on road for agitation, rather he changed the minds of the people with right ideology and he brought the social revolution.
We have two point program. First is of networking and the other of media (Electronic, traditional, print). Traditional media means to caderise persons who can guide and bring awareness among others.
Once their was a movement run by saints like Tulsidas, Ravidas etc. Most of them become saints during Muslim period. Brahmins could not demolish the saint movement, hence they diverted it. Brahmins propagated the anti brahmin movement of saints as “Bhakti movement” and said that by doing Bhakti (Prayer) one gets Mukti (freedom). We must analyse the things properly. Human being is the character who can differentiate between right and wrong. There is difference between human being and animals. Human being have reasoning capacity and intelligence, which is not in animals. Today BAMCEF’s network had been spread up in 24 states. During Lucknow convention our work which was in 191 districts had been increased now to 248 districts. Till December it will be in 300 districts. In 2002 network will spread in 400 districts and in 2003 upto 500 districts and at the end of 2004 in 550 districts. This program of networking is to make our people able and fit for the social revolution.
We should be very cautious about the terminology that is used by the Brahmins. Mr. Shahare pointed out about saffronisation. Actually it is not saffronisation but it is brahaminisation. How clever they are? Because by saying saffronisation which means Bhagavakaran, and saffron or Bhagwa is one of the colour which do not have any impact on common man. But if brahaminisation word is used then even common man can understand it and can stand against it. So care shall be taken by the Mulnivasi (indigenous) Bahujan Society not to use the terminology propagated by arya brahmins.
Every organisation has its own terminology and every work has specific and pin pointed meaning. As Rashtrapita Jotiba Phuley used the terminology “Shetaji, Bhatji vs. Shudra, Atishudra” (Oppressors Vs. Oppressed Castes), which reflects pin pointed meaning. Rashtrapita Jotiba Phule was having strong hold on the terminology he used. He use the word “Kalam Kasai” for arya brahmins. Kasai is the person who kills the animals by knife or sword. Brahmin is a person who don’t kill the bahujans by knife or sword, but he kills by “Kalam”(Pen). Jotiba Phule was much familiar with the science of movement and organisation, though nowhere this science was taught.
Babasaheb use to say for media as “Brahmin-Bania press media”, as brahmin is the editor and bania is the owner. Hence we had decided two point program. If we could develop network in 6,00,000 villages then the media can be set up with no time lapse. We are of the strong opinion that those who have advance weapons with them will definitely win the war. If you want to win in war then store all advance equipment’s in your store room. Then without war, we can win.
