The topic for discussion leads to ideological revolution. The reason of slavery of scavenging Castes is that, none of the organisation had given kind consideration towards these castes for their upliftment and none had tried to create ideological revolution in these castes. The step taken by BAMCEF is really appreceable. This type of conventions will really make way for the upliffment of most degraded caste, the untouchable among untouchables. This national convention had been organised for the first time. Before this convention Mr. Buta Singh in 1976 had tried on small scale in Ramlila Ground, Delhi. Mr. Hari Singh also tried in Talkatora Stadium, Delhi. But these convention were organised on very small scale and could not bring any fruitfull results. But this convention sponsored by BAMCEF and Mulnivasi Sangh(Ladies, students and youth wing) will really bring results within 2-3years.
Another reason of slavery and helplessness of scavenging castes is that they made Gandhiji as their elegy and also kept engaged with Maharshi Valmiki and his Ramayana. The scavenging castes could not develope and also could not become part of the mainstream of society only because they kept themselves away from Dr. Ambedkar and his ideology. Today there are examples in every state that only those castes within scheduled castes had developed who accepted the ideology of Dr. Ambedkar. The basic reason of their development is that they left their traditional occupations and services and accepted several new services, gave prime importance to education and ambedkarite ideology. They follow the path shown by their elegy and liberator Dr.Babasaheb Ambedkar. After independance Gandhiji was the only culprit who made scavenging castes slave and helpless. Gandhiji use to go in the Valmiki areas along with his goat. He didn't drink even water in these areas. He use to give cashewnuts to his goat and drink the milk of that goat. Gandhiji had tried his level best not to give education to scavenging castes so that they will never become of their slavery and he made deliberate and specific attempts and had taken special consideration that these Valmiki castes(scavenging castes)will not join the social revolutionary movement of Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar.
Due to Gandhiji's efforts scavenging castes became hopefull and dependant on Congress. Even a child was a congressian by birth. The reason behind was the his mental slavery. Scavenging castes became dependant on Congress and in turn Congress had given slavery and kept away from the mainstream of the society and this is the basic reason why none from this downfrodden caste had got representation in Parliament so that they can raise their voice there.
One more reason of slavery of scavenging castes is that the developed castes within scheduled castes could not identify their real brothers (scavengers) and didn't gave helping hand to lift these caste people. If they could have identified their co-brothers and fought against their common determined enemy then scenario could have different from what is existing or prevaling.
This social revolutionary movement is of all deppressed castes people and all should join this caravan to be the rulers of tomorrow.
