“If the intellectuals of scavenging castes had prepared their society rather than targeting for leadership, then Valmiki castes could not have become slave” -Mulkiat Singh Bahal, London   I am born and brought up in bhangi community. I had enough knowledge of the history of my brother who are engaged in doing this scavenging job for years. I tried to know about Dr. Ambedkar when I was in London. I tried to know him and his movement in depth. After studing or Dr. Ambedkar I understand the ultimate objective of his entire movement. The main objective of Dr. Ambedkar was to prepare his society to be considered as human. Hence he might have studied more. But today's intellectual's objective is individual rather than society which is not fair. The scenario could have been different if our intellectuals and so called leaders would have targeted the society. The thing which we didn't get by demanding have to be snatched. But before that the first and formost thing required is to be educated. Education is the master key to solve our problems. Without education one cannot understand what is happening in and around. And so he doesn't feel the need to organise for the common objective. Babasaheb always use to say Educate, Organise, then Agitate. Today we have our constitution with us, we have the most valuable voting right with us. With this voting right one has the power to decide who can rule him, whether a brahmin or his co-brother. But we are lagging in mental strength. Babasaheb once quoted that we were the slaves of yesterday but we have to become ruler of tomorrow. So we will have to prepare our society in this direction. There is an another example that if we give one fish to begger then his one day will spent but if we make aware or educate him or give the training how to trap the fish in the net, then he can become self dependant and his generations will get the path of liberation. As our society is not prepared so are our M.P./M.L.A.'S. They don't open their mouth in the Parliament So how our voice will raise and who will listen to us if our representatives are not listening. The only way to this problem is to educate our society, make aware of their enemies conspiracies against them and organise them under one banner for one common goal. I was not aware of the organisation like BAMCEF before attending the Lucknow national convention. As already told to you that it had spread up its network in 24 States. It is the only sincere, disciplined, dedicated organisation I have seen till date and I also assure you that it is only organisation who can take up issues and resolve it. We are not successfull till date because 15% rulling caste people are working for one common objective and 85% depressed castes are working in 85 different directions; so how one can expect the results. If we have to succeed, all depressed caste people must come under one platform and show their strength, their is no other alternative.
