Speaking on the topic “The slogan of giving reservations to most backward class and most backward scheduled castes-part of strategy of “Use and throw” policy of brahminical and communist people”, Mr. Prem Prakash Bharati, National President of Kol, Bheel, Adivasi Welfare Organisation said that, there is an inner feeling of slavery in every individual’s mind. Unless and until this slavery is liberated, the goal of social change will not be achieved. I am struggling to liberate my people right from 1974 and showing the path shown by Dr.Babasaheb Ambedkar. Dr. Ambedkar used to tell that unless and until there is social and economical stability, the politics will not survive. Even after 54 years of independence, the condition of depressed class had become worst than improving it. The percentage of people living below poverty line had been increased rather than decreasing, after independence. The entire control of system is in the hand of 10 to15 % minority people and the bahujans or 85% population is struggling with problems and problems. Ram Swarup Verma had rightly said that, in the entire world, there is not a single example which proves that without social equality there is political or economic equality. It can not survive without social equality.
Dr.Ambedkar once said that cultural equality is first step towards political equality and politics is the key of that. But people had misinterpreted Dr. Ambedkar and thought that politics is everything and every problems can be solved with this. But it is not true. Most of the people don’t know politics but are doing it in the name of Dr.Ambedkar. Today the UP government is playing a conspiracy to fool the most backward and most backward scheduled caste people. Their actual plan is to divide the degraded depressed people into sections, divide their united strength and then rule over them. The main aim of this slogan of giving reservations to most backward and most backward scheduled caste is totally politics oriented and nothing to give to the concerned people. The present UP government wants to be in power in coming elections and trying their best to retain their supremacy. If they capture the political power then ultimately the social power will also get transferred to arya brahmins.
It is totally surprising news that the people of Bhartiya Jan Sangh who had now got molded in BJP, were opposing Dr.Ambedkar, his policies and the reservation system. But the same people are now demanding reservation within reservation. In Simple word people who were strong opponent of reservation are they themselves now demanding reservation. Why this drastic change? What is the conspiracy, they are planning? Did they really want to give us reservations or simply want our votes and indirectly wants us to utilise. These are the questions which needs kind attention.
At the time of drafting the constitution, the condition of our people was far different than that is prevailing today. They were facing untouchability and all problems. Hence Dr.Ambedkar included them under one identity of Scheduled caste. Dr. Ambedkar proposed reservation based on population. On the other hand the backward class people were extending the titles of Kshatriya infront of their names.
Due to this adjustment phase, now it had become difficult to identity the OBC’s. One commission under the chairmanship of Dr.Kakasaheb Kalelkar was formed to identify the backward castes. As per this, 52% OBC was getting 52% reservation But Jawaharlal Nehru had simply thrown the Kaka Kalelkar report in dust bin. In 1977 the Janata Dal tried to open up the issue. But the 15% higher caste people make every conspirical effort not to give reservation of 52%. As soon as Mandal commission report was passed in both the houses, the higher caste people (Arya Brahmins) molded the entire OBC reservation issue into the Mandir Masjid issue and whole OBC’s class attention was diverted from Mandal.
BJP had every intention of not-giving reservations to SC/ST/OBC’s. If any commission is appointed then it should have at least one chairman and 10 members. But none OBC was represented in the commission. Kalelkar took several years to identify the castes which should be kept in reservation fold. But the present arya brahminical government took the steps very hurriedly and within 2 months the castes under most backward and most backward scheduled castes were identified. One can imagine, how the work would have been carried out. Might be the entire commission members had prepared the list in their AC rooms and submitted it. This is nothing but a part of dividing our people and rulling them.
